I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2021 and joined the Shih Lab in October 2022 as a Research Technician. In the lab, I use in vivo deep two-photon imaging to study venous vascular networks in a mouse model of CAA (cerebral amyloid angiopathy) to understand how the structure and function of these networks changes over time. Our goal is to identify how venular dysfunction develops in aging and its importance in the pathology of Alzheimer’s disease. My long-term goal is to pursue a career in neuroscience; I am especially interested in behavioral neuroscience and understanding the relationship between the brain and behavior. Outside of the lab I enjoy hiking, reading, and cooking.
