Congratulations to Dr. Andree-Anne Berthiaume for a picture-perfect thesis defense!!
Obtaining a Ph.D. is already a major achievement. But, to do so during a global pandemic requires some serious coordination and fortitude. Her committee members overwhelmingly agreed that her project, presentation and defense were exemplary.
Andree-Anne will continue on as a post-doctoral fellow in the lab, while she chooses her next career steps. We are currently in the progress of completing a paper on the topic of her thesis: “Pericyte structural remodeling in the adult and aged mouse brain”.
